This book explores gender and education in Pakistan by looking at the underlying processes that result in different patterns of educational experiences of and outcomes for females and males. The book ist divided into six parts. It starts with a general overview and then looks at the gendered aspects of teaching - three articles describe the situation of female teachers in Pakistan. Gendered schooling practices are the topic of the third part followed by gendered leadership and gendered research.
